Lindsay Lohan will now be spending the next three months behind bars for failing to appear to her court dates. In 2007, Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence and has been in the media spotlight since.
It appears now that Lohan will be spending the next 90 days in jail for failing to appear to court date, which she says was impossible for her to attend as her passport was stolen. Stolen or not, this is clearly a misuse of authority to send out a message: “the justice system cannot be bought”. Clearly Lohan is being used as a poster girl as no one would ever be sentenced to 90 days in prison for failing to appear to a hearing. It just doesn't happen.
Lohan reportedly sought advice from ex “Prison Break” star Lane Garrisson who spent over a year in jail for a DUI which killed his 17 year old passenger.
