Hold on to your hats, Troy Polamalu’s, who is a safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers just got his hair insured for $1 Million. While Polamalu (age 29) was drafted in the first round (sixteenth overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Steelers, and won a Super Bowl in 2006, he is most known for his luscious locks.
As a spokesperson for Head and Shoulders, Polamalu recently got his hair insured by Lloyds of London for $1 million. His hair was previously know for being involved in a tricky tackle where Chiefs Running Back, Larry Johnson pulled Polamalu's hair in order to block him. Johnson was penalized for it, even though hair pulling in the NFL is legal.
In a recent interview, Polamalu said the last time he cut is hair was in 2000.
