honestly, i've been dying my hair for yearsssss and ive never, up until recently, found a hair dye that actually lasted on my hair. I dye my hair blue black every month or so and it starts turning blondish after literally 2 weeks. Probably because I use alot of heated styling tools and I wash it everyday but anyway the point is

I bought a box of nice n easy by clairol about 2 months ago and let me tell you, my hair is still PITCH black. it's honestly the greatest colouring ive ever used

so consider it

that's all.

also post other good hair dyes. thank u.

my roots never grow in lol its usually the ends that turn blondish because theyre fried i guess
but don't be scared to do it at home

i was going to dye it at the hair dresser the other day but i realized there's no point cause it's already so black

and do the blue black, it's honestly not even that big of a difference

unless you go from blonde to black lol i did that once and i had blue highlights it was sick.

but ya go for it.

But my hair's soooo easily damaged
using the wrong dye would completely ruin it
and yeah my roots grow in so quickly, I hateeeeeeeeeeee it

and I find with blue black, especially in the sun you see the blue
where as when it's just black, you can see the shades on brown under the black.. which looks weird lmao
I mightttttt

lmfaoo, i'll just come clean.
my girl was telling me that these 2 white girls told her that they died their hair red with kool-aid but it only lasted them for a couple of days. they said that it would last longer in a black persons hair, so i was like okayy, i'mmaa try it. my hair is some messed up colour. my roots are dark brown but as you keep going it gets lighter, so i'm like k, gonna use some purple kool aid so it'll be dark.
so i did it.. as i was putting it in my hair was BLAAAAAAACK, i was so happy that it was working. then i left it in for about 20 mins, rinsed, blow dried... and i see my hair color again... the kool aid washed out when i was rinsing it out lmfaaoooo.
waste of my time.. and energy.

To keep your colour, you need sulphate free shampoo. That's what strips the colour and dries out your hair.
As for lasting colour, box dye the only one I would trust is Nice n' Easy. I went from blonde to dark brown and have died my hair only twice that year.

Not matter what kinda of hair dye I use it always fades really fast. Even if I go to the hair dresser my hair tends to grow in quickly. And it bugs the crap outta me! I did my hair red back in December with two black peekaboos and black in my bangs and my light brown is already showing like crazy! the black isn't all that black anymore. The only good thing about my hair is that people complain when they do red their hair turns orange when it fades but mine just fades into a different shade of red.

Hello
1. Cranberry juice, henna and tea are all great natural hair dyes that can be used for temporary coloring.

2. Decide whether you want temporary or permanent coloring

3. Highlighting is a great way to add tone to monochromatic hair.

4. Hair colors are chemically based so if you’re pregnant you should check with your doctor before coloring your hair.

5. Henna hair dyes are organic based hair colors that don’t mix well with chemicals.

6. Stay out of swimming pools and the sea after coloring your hair. Sea salt and chlorine do not mix well with chemicals in hair color.

7. Know your own hair color before you start (see here)

8. Do a strand test.

9. Be prepared. Make sure everything is present and correct before you start (towels, gloves, etc).
