Actually most immigrants do have an education but it is not considered to be the equivalent of Canada's(which is really questionable). Canada needs immigrants, there would be no upper class without a disposable source of labor and the reason why a lot of immigrants are on welfare are because they get laid off pretty often. Canada is also underpopulated as well.

Canada's system is faulty when it comes to accepting foreign degrees, we also have a shortage of doctors and a lot of them are driving taxi cabs

The reason people come to Canada is to have a BETTER life and Canada does promote this sort of idea too, I would be pissed If I came here and my life was not much different than it was back home. Most immigrants that come here are not the peasants and underclass back in their homeland, Canada has requirements to weed out these types of people. A lot of these people are also smarter than a lot of Canadians as well, and I'm pretty sure you would not be able to pass a citizenship test like a lot of them have had to!

Looks like those Africans fighting over bananas had better English than your uncle, also according to statscan african immigrants are the most educated people that come into Canada. Someone's a little bitter.........
