okay i am and always will be a kobe fan, i never liked lebron, since u dont want to see that, please tell me how rose is better than rondo

Offensive Arsenal is way over the top of Rondos
PG Vision is EQUAL despite Rondo avg 9 assists and DRose averaging 7..
Rondo's defense doesnt make up for the edge he loses on offense

And DRose has more of a killer instinct, more of an ability to take over a game, and is more clutch

i swear rose's vision isnt close to rondo's, and rose could score easier than rondo i know,
rondo has wayyy bettter d then rose, rose could take games over cuz HE THE BEST ON HIS TEAM! the C's have pierce ray and KG put rose in that situation im sure doc rivers would give the ball to pierce and ray allen b4 rose,
P.s ur list is messed up, drose billups westbrook and parker ARENT better than rondo nuff said

Actually Pierce and Allen (sometimes for Allen) get the ball before Rondo anyway..
Westbrook is DEFINITELY better. He does everything Rondo does on defense and is WAYYY better offensively..Rondo gets a slight vision rating over Westbrook but not by that much, Westbrook was top 5 I believe in assists and if you want to compare players then you can say that while Rondo has the big 3 to pass to, Westbrook only has KD. Parker, DRose, and Billups are better too

its always funny when people say stats don't mean shit. so wtf do u use when comparing players? ur biased opinions of them? or u just going by names? how many highlights they have on sports centre? honestly, help me out here.

but back to rondo being one of the best pgs in the league.. he's led the league in steals, he finds holes for assists, he's an amazing rebounder for a 6'1 pg, unafraid to take the ball to the hoop AND can score once he's there, AND can ALMOST get a triple-double at will (look back at the last three seasons, tell me i'm lying, then laugh again when i compare him to jkidd). not to mention, besides billups and parker, which of any of the pgs that y'all listed have been to the finals more than once AND have a championship? i'll wait until oct 31, 2010 for y'all to answer that one.

MY top 5 PGs league wide with explanations

1) Rajon Rondo, his performance in the last playoffs and the 2008 championship speaks for themselves
2) Derrick Rose, scores 20+ ppg, gets his team involved, and a great leader overall
3) Deron Williams, anyone that can avg 10+ assists per game and 18+ points not named John Stockton or Steve Nash needs mention
3) Chris Paul, pretty much the same reasons as DWill
5) Jose Calderon..... no i'm lying lol... there's too many good PGs to put a final 5th. i wanna put Tyreke Evans cause he won ROY but really that would be my only reason

please argue this

EDIT: before y'all get all up in arms about why i didn't put any older players on this list its because the older guys had their time. their tops all time. but i'm going for youth and the future all time PGs.

So basically your list is off projections of whos to remain relevant within the next 5 years?
That's the only way that Nash wouldnt be listed

And the playoffs is all Pierce sorry to say..

Now that LA won, can we stop overrating Rondo?

Chris Paul tied for 3rd... pretty much the same as D-will... Rondo and Drose better than him...

There is so much wrong with this picture. If you put Rondo or D-will on the Celtics they could have 4peated. You guys watch a couple playoff games and deem Rondo the second coming. Smh.

so i don't know basketball because rondo was the only PG out of all that y'all listed that made it to the finals twice in the last 3 years? hmm.. that's an interesting statement. pierce being the playoffs? pfft, i wanna know what playoffs u were watching. especially that finals series.

i'm not sorry i don't agree with russel westbrook being the second coming or tyreke evans being god because he won the ROY. but don't tell me i don't know ball lol. that's just funny.

Okay i know rondo is better than westbrook! wtf r u talkin about?
And u think i started watching ball yesterday!? ive been watching ball plus i was watching rondo since kentucky.
Plus we all know that if Boston won the finals rondo should have been finals mvp! i swear he was the best pg in the playoffs this year! he 6'1 grabs more boards than most taller ppl can!
So dont even hate he MUST be in the top 5 in the nba for me he in 4th place!
p.s even tho evans is avg. 20 5 5 in his rookie year, and rondo wasnt avg anything close to that in his rookie year that doesnt mean he cant be better than him.
look at kobe in his rookie year he was avg. 7 points and look at him now

Derek Fisher made it to the finals and repeated... so by your standards, Fisher>Rondo?

Just stop.

Rondo is not the second or even third option on offense when the big 3 are on the floor. The rest of those guys carry their teams.

We all saw what happened when Rondo was the focal point last year in the playoffs. He almost averaged a triple double and they BARELY beat CHICAGO. He can't carry a team.

The fact that you guys are saying Steve Nash is not better than Rondo really shows how much basketball you watch. HE carries teams.

Ok i never said rondo is better than nash. i think nash is the best point gaurd in the league. i even think cp3 and d will are better than rondo.
Ok so ur tellin me billups, westbrook carried their team ? bro everynight one of the big 3 were having a bad game he would step up , u know that. and Boston went to game 7 with bulls and rondo was avg a triple double and wat was rose doing? one 36 point game rondo had 29 10 11 that game. not to mention that was only the 2nd 30 point game in his career. so dont even say that rose is better than rondo.
The normal season he was the most consistent on the team avg a double double and ray paul and kg would even have some single digit games,

well fisher had shaq and kobe, not to mention countless other stars and scorers on his team. plus he's much older than rondo. so if u even bothered to read my post, by my standards, he's NOT better than rondo. u stupid ass illiterate motherfucker.

second, depending on the play they're running, rondo CAN be the first scoring option. saying that he's not even a second or third scoring option shows 1) u don't watch Boston basketball, and 2) u know little about team strategy. Boston can, and does, at any and all times, run different plays for every player on the court. why? because they can ALL SCORE.

third, u wanna talk about rondo averaging a triple double and barely beating chicago but here we have ur boy steve nash averaging 15 ppg and 10+ apg with an amazing scoring line up (phoenix did lead the league in team ppg after all) and his superb leadership and team carrying abilities got him..... eliminated by the lakers in the third round. close, but not the finals. brandy sang a song about this called "Almost Doesn't Count."

soooo yeah. who's next to try and prove me wrong?

Ye... and Rondo has three HOF'ers around him... see the connection? Heres a dot •, and another one •. Can you connect them retard?

If you think Rondo can be the first scoring option on any drawn up play and you think you know anything about basketball... just off yourself kiddo.

I love how the Rondo-lovers keep contradicting themselves

End of the day
CP3, DWill, Nash, Rose, and Westbrook are for sure better than him

If you want to place him 6th go ahead, but even that's arguable

^ They didn't. That's what I have to say about that. (Refering to the Ben Gordon/John Salmons statement)

As for Westbrook vs Rondo
Rondo's team is WAY better, how many times do we have to say that he's playing with 3 HOFs, meanwhile Westbrook only had KD. Obviously KD runs the team, seeing as how KD is a top 5 player in the entire league..

I dont even feel like answering u cuz u said that ben gordan and john salmons never put in more work then drose
rose had 1 30 point game that whole series and that was only the 2ND time he scored 30 or more, u have 0 ball iq
and ok rondo has 3 hall of famers on his team and he is avg 14 points, without them he would have to work harder and he wpuld avg more points then ur boy westbrook, he would hve less assits but he would definitky have more points
