Russians wanted to kill their president. Maybe they didn't like the way they ran things. It didn't elaborate too much on that. But she was a spy that was supposed to carry out the mission of assassinating the Russian President but she changed her mind after going to Korea with her rents. So in the end, she went against the plan, but she knew there were tons like her, so she killed the one who started it all, and lured who she could out of hiding and killed them.

It's great movie. I have watched it approximately 5-6 times on youtube. You should also try 'youtube' to get it. Angelina Jolie has done well work in it. I love her acting very much.
